Leodal´s Kennel breed Leonbergers in a smale scale in homeenvironment. We live in Lästringe - outside Nyköping.

We are Angelica and Christian Klavbäck. Along with ourselves lives our doughters Saga and Lova and our four Leonbergers Zaya, Engla, Fanny & Bonzo. We started our kennel the year 2005, in the spring of 2006 we got our kennelname approved by FCI. Or first litter was born the 18 of july year 2007.

First time we meet a Leonberger we were visiting our Elsa (our first Leonberger) as a pup, this day the race Leonberger took a big place in our hearts.

We have always had dogs that a big interest and both has growing up with dogs of different races, among other Dalmatinas and New Foundland. But he Leonberger fits us best. Our goal is to breed healty and well being Leonbergers with good mentality. The dogs should fit perfect as familydogs and also suit as workingdogs.

Our dogs lives together with us as familymembers. We spend as mutch time we can together with them, sometimes we bring them to work. But most of there time they spend at home in the dogyard waiting for us to come home from work. And when we do, we always bring them to the forest so they can run around free. We spend alot of time in the forest when we dont work, becouse its the best way to exercise the dogs and becouse they love it. We also devote alot of time to dogshows, obedience and tracking.

We also think its very important to support the race in different ways, not just through our breeding. We work for SLBK (The Swedish Leonbergerclub). We also participate on dogmeatings, breedermeatings and other activitys. And we have arranged SLBK´s Leonbergerspecialshow in Stockholm 3 years running. Angelica has also been sitting in the Swedish Leonbergerclub board year 2008, and as editor for the club magazine the same year. We also arrange 1-2 mentaltests every year. This is very important to us, to manage the race in every conceivable channels. The clubwork takes alot of time and energy therefore the activitys in the clubwork will vary during the years.
